large light bulb in series circuit

Voltage drop

we created a large light bulb in a series circuit to measure the voltage drop across the circuit using a multimeter with the available of 12v. beacuse the bulb uses high amount of voltage so it has more resistance.

Amps

so the next method was to measure amps ( current ) flowing through the circuit by using a multimeter. so the amps stays the same throughout the circuit  = Amps = 1.78amps the bigger the bulb has less resistance and more amps.

Resistance

calculate the resistance of the large light bulb using ohms law which is R=V/

R=12v/1.78amps
R= 6.74ohms
so the bigger the bulb has less resistance and more amps and small bulb has more resistance less amps.

Watts

Calculate watts used at the light bulb using W=V*I to calculate the watts thats produced at the large light bulb
w=12v*1.78amps
w=21.36 w

so the large light bulb has less resistance and more amps so it brighter than the small bulb and it produces more wattage to it.
